Green Olimpico

Saturday's derby will be the first time in Italy where focus is being given to environmental thinking at the stadium. Available for the public will be different containers for different types of garbage, as demonstrated by Aquilani above (and Rocchi, who but for the magic of editing couldn't hit a football as well as Alberto can hit a plastic bottle...but I digress).

This is a good initiative, clearly, and welcome. But it is also, in some manner, perfectly Italian: take the train two hours south to Napoli, and the streets are littered with garbage, serious health hazards are plentiful for the inhabitants, but now the derby crowd can recycle. There's a strange paradox here, that is as enticing as it is regretful.
