Insipiraton: Napoli

Naples has a bad rep. I believe a lot of it is earned on merit. There's crime like nowhere else, there's a certain kind of poverty, there's a distinct taste in music, wide spread worshiping of figures like this guy, as well as culturally shared assumptions that makes Naples a city unlike any other I have seen in Italy. But because this is the dominant narrative, I want to do my share to show some of the good things that actually owe its heritage to the city. So for the first and probably last time*, and in honor and gratitude towards the city's football team for acting as a speed bump on Milan's road to the scudetto, here are some of the most inspiring and beautiful things about Napoli.

* Barring special circumstances, like Napoli repeating the example laid down by Fulham when they play Juventus next.
